Bachelor of Science in Family and Child Sciences from Florida State University; Master’s and Educational Specialist in Mental Health Counseling from Florida State University. Trained/Rostered clinician in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TFCBT)
Interests:
Jaclyn has 12 years of counseling experience working in a variety of settings. She has provided therapy to patients and their families in outpatient, in-home, and residential settings. Most recently she worked in the private practice setting providing counseling to children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. She is a trained/rostered therapist in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TFCBT) through the North Carolina Child Treatment Program affiliated with Duke University. Jaclyn believes that creating a safe environment and developing a collaborative environment is just as important as the interventions presented. She enjoys working with children and adolescents experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma-related disorders, adjustment disorders, family dynamics, and relationship challenges.
