Teen Health Connection Receives its Second Match Grant Challenge
As part of our 25th anniversary celebration, Teen Health Connection was awarded a prestigious $25,000 match grant from The Leon Levine Foundation, which was successfully met by June 1, 2017. We are very pleased and honored to receive a second match grant challenge for $20,000 that will run until May 31, 2018. The Leon Levine Foundation believes in the work of Teen Health Connection - to empower every adolescent to be healthy, safe and successful. They also recognize how Teen Health Connection places the utmost importance on the proper stewardship of grant funds and individual donations.
The purpose of this match grant is to encourage and incentivize donors to give to Teen Health Connection in one of the following ways:
- as a first-time (new) donor
- as a current donor who increases his or her donation from the prior year; or
- as a renewing donor who has not given to Teen Health Connection in at least one year.
If you are a new or renewing donor, 100% of your gift will qualify for the match. If you are a current donor (having given within the last year), the amount you give during the match period over last year's gift will be matched. Every $25, $50 or $100 donated will help us to reach our goal by June 1.
And great news! We have already received 34 gifts totaling just over $8,000 to apply towards our match - but we need more help. As a supporter of the health and wellbeing of teens and a friend of Teen Health Connection, can we count on you to help us reach the balance of our match?
From all of us at Teen Health Connection, thank you to The Leon Levine Foundation and from all of our donors for believing in the health and wellbeing of our teens.
The 2018 Teen Health Connection Board of Directors gives a special shout out to The Leon Levine Foundation for all that they do to support teens in this community.
